With the real estate sector grappling with issues related to lack of transparency, the Confederation of Real Estate Developers Association of India (Credai) called a press meet a few days ago on how to make the real estate sector corruption-free. Asked how they were going to achieve the objective of making real estate corruption-free, a Credai office-bearer said, “By writing a letter to the prime minister.” The association has already sent a letter to that effect, he added. Now, if only writing a letter to the prime minister would solve corruption, Kisan Baburao Hazare would have got the Lok Pal by now.
