This refers to Subir Roy's column "Delhi results a national milestone" (Value for Money, February 11). Roy has identified four national implications following the Aam Aadmi Party(AAP)'s landslide victory. Other analysts have also commented on the implications at the national level. Suddenly, experts have started comparing Arvind Kejriwal with Narendra Modi. There is no doubt AAP has done well in the capital. But to say that this has national implications is too much of reading between the lines. AAP scored over BJP due to the decimation of the Congress. Modi has already proved that Kejriwal is not a match for him, if we are to go by Kejriwal's defeat in Varanasi in the general elections.
