This refers to the edit “Mostly fits the bill” (August 3). If indeed, the new Land Acquisition Bill will promote the development of hitherto undeveloped regions, it would certainly be welcomed. To encourage this, the government should, in fact, be proactive in identifying such regions and provide these with basic infrastructure to attract developers.
