The massive full-page advertisement in most newspapers all over India from by the AIADMK government of Tamil Nadu, on the occasion of its completion of one year in office, only indicates the scant regard with which taxpayers’ money is being spent by the government.
Obviously, such an attitude towards taxpayers’ money must reflect in all government activities. Now we know why milk prices, power tariffs, bus fares, etc have to be raised steeply in the state.
