‘The Naga chilli: Spicing up the DRDO research’, May 4 and ‘The DRDO’s most unusual lab’, May 5, were excellent articles on the silent work being done by the Defence R&D Organisation. The work being done by the DRDO in various fields is commendable. The media usually highlights only projects which need more work, or are incomplete — all this helps brand the DRDO’s work as failures. Your write up erases that impression.
