<b>Letters:</b> Don't bay for blood

Ms Uma Raman (“Twisted logic” June 23) writes: “That Mahindra and Ansals were getting paid and earning huge profits....” I don’t know about Mr Ansal but Mr Mahindra was paid Rs 250 per meeting for six meetings per annum. That, I assume, is a lot of money in Raman’s book!

Also, please note that, in the aftermath of the BP spill, there are no cries for jailing Tony Hayward, nor the non-executive chairman of BP. Neither is personally culpable, though the company probably is. To do justice is not the same as baying for blood.
