The government decision to finally auction the 3G spectrum in the current fiscal will put an end to the sad state of affairs in this sector. Firms that are doing well and have managed to get large number of subscribers have been suffering due to lack of spectrum — as a result, when mobile number portability finally happened, these firms were in danger of losing their subscribers.
Hopefully, this will now be a thing of the past and these firms will be in a position to offer quality services to their subscribers.
