The month-long fight between Bollywood studios and multiplex-owners is hurting everyone. While the multiplex-owners are losing hundreds of crore and have less staying power than the Bollywood producers do, the latter are also hurting. Why don’t the two sides make up since it is clear one cannot survive without the other? The summer holidays are just beginning and having the face-off continue will hit both sides quite badly. And leave the viewers with little choice but to watch Hollywood films instead.
