Apropos the book review "Whose land is it, anyway?" (May 23), Gerald O'Hara might have been right to say: "Land is the only thing in the world worth working for, worth dying for, because it the only thing that lasts". Mark Twain, the American humourist, said in his inimitable way, "Buy land, they are not making it anymore."
