Letters: Let's wait and watch

This refers to Bharat Bhushan's article "With malice aforethought" (March 27). From what is apparent from the past few months' events relating to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Narendra Modi seems to be overwhelmed by opportunists. Anybody having hunches of his future prospects as the prime minister is getting trampled. This is the case when the BJP is not in power and Modi is surely not the prime minister as yet, but the cliche "absolute power corrupts absolutely" clearly conveys the spirit of the letter. We still have time to wait and watch, and then decide the deserving candidate, before getting inked.
