This refers to the debate "Was Wharton right to disinvite Modi?" (March 11). Wharton is a reputed business school and it enjoys the freedom to decide whom to invite to speak at its events. But by cancelling the invitation extended to Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi, his stature is in no way diminished. Everybody makes mistakes, as American humorist Woody Allen said. On Harvard, an Ivy League University like Wharton, Allen said, "Harvard makes mistakes too, you know. Kissinger taught there."
