Apropos A K Bhattacharya’s column “Addressing the energy crisis” (Raisina Hill, September 27), it is not established how the crisis is related to imports. It is also very archaic to hinge on the concept that imports should always be used as an economic parameter to understand a particular sector’s problem. It, therefore, would only be very vague to say there is reason to worry because of a rise in oil, coal and gas imports.
