It is unfortunate that the Delhi University VC has approved of the semester system even though the Academic Council has rejected it. This is akin to passing a board resolution when the members are against it. The HRD ministry is going along with the VC.

At a recent meeting of parents and teachers with the CBSE board chief on the new evaluation system, similar problems emerged as both teachers and parents were against the move. Are we readying to destroy the education system?
