If Saudi Arabia does fund 40 per cent of Pakistan’s defence budget as you say (“The new great game”, March 3), then it is not clear why it would want to rein in Pakistan’s terror attacks against India. Unless the Saudis believe Pakistan no longer has the capability to deliver, and so it needs to hedge its bets.
