Former Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf's candid statement that Pakistan trained terrorists against India and pushed them into Jammu and Kashmir is not surprising. At the same time, his open and bold confession has substantiated the recent revelation by Wikileaks on the ISI’s terror-related activities in the region.
The question is: why did Musharraf not reveal these facts earlier? They clearly follow the launch of his new political party, the All Pakistan Muslim League (APML). In this context, it seems he is preparing a political ploy against the present Pakistani government.
In any case, the fact that Pakistan supports terror activities should be taken seriously.
