<b>Letters:</b> The fine print

BJP leader L K Advani has got everyone excited by his promise of bringing back lakhs of crore rupees of Indian funds stashed away in Swiss banks. You should, however, read the fine print. Advani is not saying he will bring back the money, and certainly not in the first 100 days his government (if elected) is in power. All he’s saying is that he will initiate measures to begin the process. That means writing a letter or two, getting the Indian ambassador to put in a request, and so on. Those who are cheering Advani today will suffer a rude shock when they will find out that the money will remain where it is today.
