Prime Minister Manmohan Singh’s statement on an the possibility of another strike from Pakistan is a reminder that we cannot possibly resume normal relations with that country and have to treat it as hostile.
But what we have to realise is the dilemma faced by Dr Singh — merely treating Pakistan as an enemy does not resolve the problem either. The only solution left is to be eternally vigilant.
