It was interesting to read “Indian Express” (February 22) by Bhupesh Bhandari. Towards the end, Sanjay Rishi, American Express Asia business head, offers to sell the writer an American Express card. I have been an American Express card holder for the past 10 years. But it is not as widely accepted as Visa or MasterCard even in reputed hotels or shopping malls.
It would be appreciated if this aspect is brought to Rishi’s notice so that he can take steps to have American Express cards accepted at all popular shops, hotels, malls and so on.
