Sports Minister MS Gill has a nerve to ask the “striking” hockey team to resume training and play the World Cup matches, after which he will ensure they get a fair deal. A fair deal for what? For not getting their dues for 2009? Give the hockey team a break, Mr Gill. The only way to deal with the rotten sports administration in India is to apply the kind of pressure the hockey team is applying.
