Letters: Urban mess

Business Standard New Delhi

Though I agree with the thrust of Mihir S Sharma’s column “Road rages” (Ticker, July 7), it merely polarises an already artificially polarised debate. There is no doubt that public transport and emergency services should be accorded priority on arterial city roads. But an urban planning failure also occurs when reserved corridors create uncontrollable traffic jams for other road users.
