The outbursts of Congress chief Sonia Gandhi (pictured) and her son and deputy Rahul Gandhi over the National Herald case are due to frustration. Their charge that the National Democratic Alliance government at the Centre has foisted the case on them is without substance as the case has come up on a private complaint by Subramanian Swamy.
The case was filed when the Congress-led United Progressive Alliance was in power. Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi should stand trial. It must be noted that the trial court order was upheld by the Delhi High Court.
