Virgin Group Chairman Richard Branson may be unique when it comes to ideas but he has competition from passengers flying Virgin Atlantic. A list of some of the strange things passengers have tried to check in over the years proves the point. The list, which the airline recently shared, includes a bag of sand, sea and water belonging to a couple who fell in love on the island of Grenada, a pet tarantula hidden in a lady’s coat and a dead cow wrapped in plastic at JFK and, at Delhi airport, a bag of cutlery previously stolen from a Virgin Atlantic flight.
