Making a connection

The Central Bureau of Investigation’s (CBI) communications team has publicised the fact that the new headquarters is equipped with the very latest technology. We’ll take their word for it, since mobile connectivity is available everywhere but in the press room. Asked why, an official said a mobile company had expressed interest in installing a tower free of cost so the problem would soon be solved. Which had some journalists suggesting that considering the 2G investigation, no telecom company would take any chances offending the CBI.
