West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is brushing up her Hindi vocabulary with gusto. She has bought a Bengali-to-Hindi dictionary using it to reach out to her Hindi audiences better. She makes it a point to jot down new Hindi words she comes across so that she can use them later. She is also scouting for a tutor to familiarise her with the nuances of the language. Her preference for the language seems to have grown in tandem with her growing friendship with her Delhi counterpart, Arvind Kejriwal, and Uttar Pradesh counterpart, Akhilesh Yadav.
