Messi scores for Parivartan

Parivartan in West Bengal has nothing to do with Argentinean football or Lionel Messi. But the Messi mania that has gripped the city has compelled Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and her ministers to cancel all appointments. Even the chief minister, who is not a die-hard football fan, advanced the Cabinet meeting scheduled on Friday to Thursday following a request from her colleagues. Moreover, from Governor M K Narayanan to Banerjee, the whole political class is likely to be present at the stadium on Friday. It seems Messi has scored a goal for Parivartan, even before the whistle blows.
