Just how transparent the government is getting is best judged from the websites of both the Rajya Sabha and the Lok Sabha. Apart from the usual details of the MPs’ occupation and educational qualifications, there is a separate sub-head on their birthdays and, if you please, even one that gives details of ‘MPs in hospital’. What will complete the picture is a sub-head ‘MPs with criminal records’. May be the next government will introduce that.
