The day the Narendra Modi-led Bharatiya Janata Party registered a landslide victory in the general elections, an earthquake measuring 5.1 on the Richter scale hit neighbouring Pakistan. Obvious jokes and connections to Modi's win followed soon after. So much so that it became one of the top trending topics in India on social networking website Twitter by late evening on Friday. The fact that the earthquake caused no casualties and resulted in minimal damage only helped the cause of people who joked about how "Modi's Tsunami or wave had crossed the border and jolted Pakistan"!
