A meeting on the Right to Food campaign is probably the last place Home Minister P Chidambaram thought he’d get advice on how to tackle the Naxalites in Dantewada. At the meeting, Communication Minister A Raja advised Chidambaram on a change in strategy for Dantewada. Raja told the home minister that he needed to use air power in Dantewada, but the aircraft should carry food, not troops and weapons. The aircraft would then shower relief in the form of food all over the area. The way to a man’s heart is through his stomach, right?
