Congress ministers come in all sizes. On a recent flight out of Delhi one woman minister from the south took the regular bus from the terminal to the aircraft, stood in queue and sat in economy class (remember the “austerity” directive?). Another minister also took the bus, but sat in business class. But the show stopper was the minister who commandeered an entire bus for himself, had six airlines staff escort him, got other passengers who were boarding to stop when his special bus reached the aircraft and pompously walked up and took his special place in seat 1A. And he loves talking about Gandhism (of the original Gandhi).
