Suspended Trinamool Congress (TMC) MP, Kunal Ghosh, first refused to get into a police van and then had to be dragged out of it when he was taken to court yesterday to make an appearance in a Saradha scam hearing. His grouse: the special treatment being given to transport minister, Madan Mitra, also arrested in the same case. What irked Ghosh was the fact that Mitra didn't have to make it to court in a police van and that he was allowed to speak freely to the media. The suspended TMC leader, who is in police custody for his alleged role in the multi-crore Saradha chit fund scam, had been demanding better treatment in custody.
