At least two mourners from India think that the late Muhammad Ali's forte was football, not boxing. A tweet by one Anadita Patel inspired a few chuckles and went viral on WhatsApp. It read: "RIP Mohammad Ali.
The greatest footballer of all time, better than Maradona, Messi and Ronaldo." Not only did she get Ali's sport wrong, she also misspelt his name. Patel wasn't the only one. Kerala Sports Minister E P Jayarajan said in a television interview that Ali was a great sportsperson from Kerala and that he "flagged the fame of Kerala sky-high by winning a gold medal.
