Naughty at forty

Do men get naughty when they hit 40? Clearly, the general secretary of the Congress party, Lok Sabha MP and prime minister-in-waiting Rahul Gandhi seems to have taken that tombola line seriously. While his party supporters and acolytes in Delhi and Amethi were busy celebrating Mr Gandhi’s 40th birthday by doing various things, ranging from blood donation to eating meals in Dalit homes and observing Sankalp Diwas, Rahul himself slipped out of the country for a birthday bash in some distant land. Those who knocked at the doors of his Tughlaq Road house in Delhi were told “Saheb is away”. What they didn’t know was that he was far, far away. Some say in London, others say in a more distant land. Happy Birthday, Rahul!
