Lokshakti Janata Party chief Ram Vilas Paswan wants his party to get 16 Lok Sabha tickets if his party is to ally with Lalu Prasad’s Rashtriya Janata Dal in Bihar. But the two are yet to meet and finalise matters. Meanwhile, according to Rural Development Minister Raghuvansh Prasad Singh who is a close confidante of Prasad, “Paswan sent one of his emissaries to a junior leader in our party to discuss the proposal … it is a well-known fact that baseless demands are always mooted through less intelligent people. When the two top leaders meet, Prasad will shrug off these demands and Paswan will have to fall in line.” Seeing will be believing.
