Here's a set refusing to vacate their offices: As Shastri Bhawan faces an acute shortage of rooms, a section of the staff has adopted an interesting way to protect their turf. Some officers directed to shift to the newly constructed National Media Centre are so reluctant to leave their old offices over fear that these would be taken over by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting that they have left their nameplates on the doors and some furniture in the rooms to give the impression that these continue to be occupied. "Otherwise, in no time, the allocated room would be taken over," a senior official said.
