Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, who was in Mumbai to participate in a Make in India event, spoke about how hard his government and the people of the state were working now that they were part of a new state (in 2014, the state of Telangana was carved out of undivided Andhra Pradesh). He joked that just like the people of the state, their ruling deity, Tirupati Balaji, was also working harder. His resting period has been cut down and he is available for darshan longer than before.
