The roof flying off in the Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL) may have shocked many but things may not be much better in other places. The Railways had a conference recently and the hall in which the delegates were assembled had metal buckets all over the place.
The roof was leaking and the buckets were kept to catch the water dripping from the roof. So each time a speaker made his way to the dais, he had to negotiate the buckets, before being able to adddress the audience on the challenges the Railways faced when it came to modernisation and expansion.
