Nothing new

Former finance minister P Chidambaram was asked for a response on Mukesh Ambani's statement that the crisis in Iraq is likely to impact oil prices. The Reliance Industries chairman had said: "The geopolitical crisis in the middle east, especially the ongoing one in Iraq, will increase crude oil prices, which in turn will spike inflation in our economy." With his tongue in cheek, Chidambaram said, "So, did you get to know anything new?" Implying that what Ambani said was well-known and did not deserve a response.
