It’s not just journalists, politicians too are wary of knowing Niira Radia. A few days ago, Trinamool Congress leader Sudip Bandopadhyay casually mentioned that he had Radia’s mobile number in his phone directory — a hangover from the Nano controversy in Singur. Hearing this, Supriya Sule, Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar’s daughter and NCP MP, promptly told Bandopadhyay to delete the number. “You never know what happens if you call her up, even by mistake, so don’t take a chance,” Sule advised Bandopadhyay. Last heard, Bandopadhyay actually did follow Sule’s advice.
