Outstanding issue

The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation has come up with a novel way to force tax defaulters to pay up. It has put up hoardings at different places in the city naming 90 tax defaulters and is scouting for places where it can put up a few more hoardings displaying the names of the rest of the defaulters. The corporation is reportedly toying with the idea of sending teams of drummers to play in front of the houses of the defaulters to embarrass them. The civic authority has already uploaded the full list of defaulters on its official website.
