Recently, Union Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee lost his cool, as he is wont to do, and shouted at Union Railways Minister Dinesh Trivedi at a meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Political Affairs, when the latter raised his party’s objections to the India-Bangladesh accord on Teesta river waters. But Trivedi flummoxed the senior minister with his response: “Pranabda, even my father has never shouted at me like that!”

The office canteen is tying up with a popular takeaway service for Bengali cuisine to serve authentic Calcutta Biryani and rolls. Obviously, it pays to grumble sometimes.
