Journalists asked Home Minister P Chidambaram if he’d got any response from the Maoist chief Kishenji after he had given out his fax number; and also whether he had called Kishenji on the mobile number the latter had given out at a media conference. Chidambaram told reporters the phone wasn’t even Kishenji’s but it belonged to a police constable (PC), probably stolen from him during a Maoist raid.
