Phew ... made it!

The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) planned a conference around financial inclusion and asked Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee to give a date at his convenience. Since he wasn’t expected to indicate a time before two months, CII staffers were relaxed in their preparations. To their surprise, the FM agreed to be there within 10 days. The CII, therefore, had to really scurry around to organise the event and get enough speakers and panelists, Boston Consulting Group Asia Chairman Janmejaya Sinha said at the conference.
