Powell's 'return'

Outgoing US ambassador to India Nancy J Powell may be leaving India under the shadow of criticism that she was indifferent to Bharatiya Janata Party prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi and for mismanaging the Indo-US diplomatic row over Devyani Khobragade. But, she said at the annual general meeting of the American Chamber of Commerce in Delhi last week, she is ready to return to India soon - as a visitor. "I hope to be a tourist soon," she told the gathering.
