It’s no secret that PR firms often try and control information, and try and direct press conferences to their clients’ benefit. More often than not, they fail. At a press conference recently, one such attempt was made by not giving those scribes with a penchant for asking uncomfortable questions a chance to speak. Moreover, one of the PR officers signalled the end of the event rather abruptly when the mike came to a journalist who is known for his trick questions. This, however, angered the reporters present and led to a flurry of questions.
