Historian and author Ramachandra Guha, a vocal critic of dynastic rule, has said that elevating Rahul Gandhi (pictured) to the post of Congress president is like making a player, who has scored just two half centuries in about 40 Test matches, the captain of the national cricket team. "In the last 12 years, Rahul Gandhi has campaigned in three Lok Sabha polls and maybe 30 to 40 Assembly elections," Guha told a news channel. "If you ask me, he has scored just two 50s, a couple of 10s and 20s and many zeros. You can't make him the captain of the team."
