The recession is a lot worse than most people think. According to a news report on New York Times’ financial news service, DealBook, Hustler magazine’s publisher Larry Flynt and Joe Francis who produce the ‘Girls Gone Wild’ videos have said they’re asking the US Congress for a $5 billion bailout.
According to Flynt, “With all this economic misery and people losing all that money, sex is the farthest thing from their mind.” It remains to be seen if Congress will do something to, as Flynt has demanded, “rejuvenate the sexual appetite of America.” Since the bailout plea was made at the opening of an adult expo, though, you can’t rule out the possibility that Flynt and Francis were just looking for some good fun — of a different kind.
