A meeting between industry and the Competition Commission of India (CCI) on February 14 was not immune to the hyper-marketing that marks the date as Valentine's Day. Delivering the keynote address, CCI chief Ashok Chawla said he had suggested this date for the interaction without realising it was Valentine's Day and went on to joke that, hopefully, industry and the regulator would imbibe the spirit of the day and learn to live with each other on more friendly terms.
