Report review

The Prime Minister's Office (PMO) has written to all departments seeking a review of the reports they send to the PMO periodically. Department secretaries have been asked to review the utility of such inputs/reports and the need to alter their form and manner to retain their relevance. These departments have to send their views in a tabular format - under heads such as name of the report, periodicity, whether it should be continued or not and the reason for that - in 10 days.
