Reverse swings

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), which started its political career in the Assembly elections last year in Delhi, did not manage to win even one of the seven parliamentary seats from the state. But even this not-so-successful performance saw it root out the Congress. Yet, AAP leaders suggested that it was the Congress that was responsible for AAP being unable to win a single Lok Sabha seat from the state. "The Congress cut into our vote bank this time," said an AAP leader. Funny, the Congress claimed that it was AAP cutting into its vote share as a reason for not retaining the state after the Assembly elections. Will the real spoilsport please stand up?
