Road rage

A Mumbai industrialist well known for building a massive and expensive home in Altamount Road is facing stiff opposition from other residents in the area. The reason: every time he throws a party, the entire street shuts down as more than 350 cars arrive to drop and collect guests at the same time. Local residents have complained to all the government agencies concerned but no action has been taken so far. Given that most residents on Altamount Road figure among the city’s richest and most powerful, it is almost ironical that they are getting a taste of being at the receiving end of the foibles of the richer and more powerful.
